Michelin-Starred Chef Opens Pop-Up in Tokyo

Takumi Sato, a Michelin-starred chef from Kyoto, has opened a limited-time pop-up in Tokyo, blending French and Japanese culinary traditions. The pop-up, named “Zen Fusion”, offers dishes like yuzu-cured foie gras and miso-braised short ribs with truffle foam, served in minimalist Japanese-style plating.

Takumi commented:
“I wanted to create a space where French technique meets Japanese philosophy — every ingredient, every plate has a story.”

The pop-up runs for six weeks, featuring tasting menus that change weekly, highlighting seasonal ingredients from Japan and France.
